Mursley Sports Association secures People’s Postcode Lottery funding

The MSA has received a funding boost thanks to players of a charity lottery.

The MSA was awarded £2,500 by People’s Postcode Trust, a grant-giving charity, funded entirely by players of People’s Postcode Lottery

The organisation will use the money to purchase cricket pitch maintenance equipment on behalf of Mursley Cricket Club.

The project will ensure that we have the relevant maintenance equipment to support the introduction of our new cricket playing area for the 2016 season

“This gives a tremendous boost to our plans to bring cricket back to the Village” – Andrew Cowell, Chairman Mursley Cricket Club

People’s Postcode Lottery is a charity lottery, where players play with their postcodes to win cash prizes while raising money for good causes. As a charity lottery, 55p from every £2 ticket goes to support charities and good causes across England, Scotland and Wales, including People’s Postcode Trust. People’s Postcode Lottery believes in supporting local communities so the money raised stays local to players.
