MUFC U18s win Youth County Cup

U18DevCelebrate

What a great Sunday morning we had. Great performances from the entire Mursley United U18 Development squad to win the Berks & Bucks U18 County Cup.

With lots in green & white colours watching on, the lads took a half-time lead of 2-0 into the dressing room following a wonderful display on controlled football, applying pressure in every area of the pitch to their talented rivals.

A strong fight back in the second half saw Bucks U18s pull the game to 2-2 at the final whistle. The game then went into penalties and two splendid saves from goalkeeper Josh Bonaiti meant Mursley brought home the trophy against all the odds.

Enormous vote of thanks!

To all those volunteers who helped us over the weekend of the 21st & 22nd May 2016 to host the MKDDL  youth cup finals. We hosted 7 exciting finals with so much young football talent on show.

The weekend was a roaring success and the feedback from our 600 visitors has been overwhelming.

In the process MUFC & MSA raised over £1000 towards their running costs.

MUFC hope to host more events like this in the future.
